Across our community, there has been a troubling increase in ICE agents entering small businesses without warrants and detaining people, including workers. This has created an atmosphere of fear for many immigrant neighbors — fear of going to work, shopping, or even supporting local businesses.   Signs of Solidarity is our way of standing with these neighbors and with the businesses that serve our community.

 

Our volunteers canvass local businesses and ask owners if they are willing to post a sign near their entrance showing support for immigrants and making clear that their business will not cooperate with ICE without a valid judicial warrant.  Join us for our next canvassing event.  Volunteer Form Here
